M+C Saatchi Group champions sustainability at the 2025 EVCOM Clarion Awards

The 2025 EVCOM Clarion Awards, held on Tuesday 8th July at the prestigious London Stock Exchange, celebrated excellence in film and events that tackle social, ethical, and environmental issues. Our Global Sustainability Director, Pamela Noakes, joined the event as a featured panelist.
The EVCOM Clarion Awards began with a thought-provoking panel discussion titled 'Sustainability and Winning Business: What Clients Want’, where Pamela Noakes joined fellow industry leaders to explore how agencies can authentically embed sustainability into their practice. Moderated by renowned broadcaster Philippa Forrester, the session set the tone for an evening focused on purpose, creativity, and real-world impact.
Key themes emerged from the conversation, including:
Sustainability is no longer just a differentiator in pitch briefs, it's now embedded in the Procurement stage, meaning if you can’t prove your credentials, you might not even get through the door.
Despite concerns around greenwashing and greenhushing, purpose-led content still resonates most. As creators, it's our job to help brands communicate their sustainability stories with honesty, transparency, and creativity.
Pamela was joined on the panel by a powerful lineup of voices driving sustainability forward:
Sam Wilson, Founder, Syntiro Associates
Dr Dominic Tantram, Partner Associate, Syntiro Associates
Jenny Manby, Executive Producer, Plastic Pictures; Sustainability Assessor, Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership
Phil McMichael, UK Sales Director, PRG
This year’s shortlist showcased a wide spectrum of impactful work, from global brands like Stella McCartney and KPMG to grassroots organisations such as St Mungo’s and St Richard’s Hospice. Each finalist was recognised not only for creative excellence but for the tangible impact of their projects, spanning sustainability, inclusion, education, and community engagement.
We are proud to contribute to this evolving conversation and remain committed to leading with purpose and with the Cultural Power that defines our work.
