M+C Saatchi UK has teamed up with the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) to accelerate the journey to a net zero future.
The UK’s path to net zero just got a little warmer and a whole lot fuzzier. Together with M+C Saatchi UK, the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) has launched "Feel All Warm and Fuzzy Inside", a new campaign aimed at making heat pump adoption a no-brainer. The campaign spotlights real homeowners’ experiences through the warmest, fuzziest medium possible—charming stop-motion animation.
Directed by Blinkink’s Adeena Grubb and Andy Biddle, the campaign brings heat pump advocates to life as wool-covered, knitted characters, crafting a cosy, nostalgic world where sustainable home heating feels as comforting as slipping into your favourite jumper on a chilly day. And with the £7,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant available, the campaign delivers more than just warmth, it brings financial relief to homeowners, too.
To dive deeper into the creative strategy, the magic of stop motion, and the challenge of making heat pumps culturally engaging, LBB Online caught up with the minds behind the campaign: Alice Marsh, business director at M+C Saatchi UK; Sam Turk and Paul Robbins, creative directors at M+C Saatchi UK; and directors Andy Biddle and Adeena Grubb from Blinkink.
